@swirlie Have you ever been to Wyoming? You can't get more uncontroled than there, especially during frontier days. Where everyone is drunk. Even on the streets.

didn't think it was embarrassing then but i do now. when i was a teen in the 80s me and my buddies got really baked on halloween. well, we got a bad case of the munchies so we picked a random house, knocked on the door and a man opened it up....we said trick or treat. he just looked at us and said "aren't you guys a little to big for this" lol, we couldn't stop laughing....but he did give us some candy.

@MsSwan now that i'm 55 and still smoke weed the odd time and get the munchies once in a while....hmmm, halloween is just around the corner....now that would be embarrassing 🤣

One thing stands out, and only one person witnessed it, and he commited suicide a few years later at 17, so no sense telling on myself that in effect only I know about. Doug was very cool, so it wouldn't surprize me if he had told no one out of respect for me..
