On a PC or on a phone? Because I think phones have a separate memory bit about what gets entered. Privacy requires a ton of hoops these days because you are the product when online.

My Google app has done that before 😅

Sometimes if you click on a link, eventhough youre in a private browser, the link will open in your default browser (regular). You would need to completely clear your cache and all temp files in your regular browser in order to lose the history.
