I absolutely believe that technology has been lost throughout time and main stream believes or theories of history have some major holes in them.
Like we have absolutely no idea how a number of things were built using only the technology that they had currently available.
Supposedly there was not intercontinental people movements, but most of the continents have pyramids using similar buildings styles that some how humans all did without having contact with each other.
Also some other things, such as building monuments that PERFECTLY line up with the stars and might of done a better job then than what we would do today.
There is a map of Antarctica, showing decent/correct details of it's perimeter, before Antarctica was officially discovered.
So I believe it's factual to say sometimes technology or knowledge is lost to history... and sometimes it's rediscovered, or other times maybe never rediscovered.
But no, I don't think much about rappers.

I like to think not. Words alone can be an art form. Musical accompaniment might be possible for some, but I think it would be a disservice to the beauty of poetry to have required music.

Depends on their cultural aesthetic…I suspect that from the European perspective, poetry is poetry. Once music’s involved, it becomes a song. 😉
