Next time someone says any variant of “you’ll just leave cause I’m hard to love and people always leave. So I understand if you do”

I call that a self fulfilling prophecy. The 3rd ex used to say that to me, now and then, that I would leave him as soon as my son was an adult, and he would spend his last years alone. And then proceeded to behave so horribly that he made it come true.

Sometimes there's a reason behind why people are hard to love, and sometimes it happens it's caused by how they show their personality over time.

Those people are insufferable
