@bijouxbroussard I hate it when a show on public television is an hour long, and 20 minutes of it is begging for money. Like, I get it. The show is supported by viewers like me. And no, I don't want a damn DVD of the show I just watched. I don't even have a DVD player.

Yes, I'm perfectly capable of clicking items on a page without being hounded to do it, when and if I want to ... ridiculous begging, and ridiculous for everyone to expect to make a living just by being a YouTuber, Instagram "influencers", etc.
At least public media stations provide something of actual value, and at least in some places pledge drives have been limited to two times a year.
