Diet can cause aggression

[media=https://youtu.be/zRoZrNQV_Nc]

It can also affect how well, or how badly your neural pathways function, (how well you think)
[media=https://youtu.be/kJMdKLhhvGc]

And all this can affect how you FEEL[media=https://youtu.be/qukxPP4kG2g]

So the old saying, "you are what you eat" is now being proved true.

Bad diet causes inflammation.

This inflammation can develop anywhere inside you:
- Joints
- liver
- skin
- veins
- nervous system
- thyroid
- brain ...... ANYWHERE...
....any organ, any cells, any system.

Most of us today are walking around with unknown, undiagnosed inflamation.

Do you get headaches?
Are you over tired?
Do you get indigestion?
Do you have allergies?
Are you depressed?
Do you have brain fog?
Is your attention span shot ?
Do your knees ache?

So many things can be improved with nutrition.

Adversely, so many things can be damaged by the lack of it.

That explains a lot... Eating healthier is complicated though...

@NerdyPotato It really is!

I know when my daughter became a vegetarian, I had to constantly read the nutritional info on everything she wanted me to buy at the grocery store to make sure she was getting everything she needed nutritionally. I did that for over a decade. For the most part, I decided cooking from scratch was the best way to make sure she got all that she needed. But that took a lot of education on what foods have what in them. I literally became a nutritionalist to give her a healthy well rounded diet.

But it took *years* of reading, looking things up and finding the best types of fresh produce and grains to get there. It isn't as easy as going to the store and just going to the healthy aisle to fill your basket. That doesn't guarantee you will be eating healthy. Even if you cook from scratch, you still have to make sure that you have created a nutritionally balance day in yoir meals. I can do it pretty easily now, but that's after having done it for almost 20 years. If you are just starting out, it can be discouraging and you end up eating the exact same things everyday, which gets boring.

And it doesn't always guarantee you'll be healthy. If you have genetic issues, that can further complicate your body's ability to absorb the nutrients you're giving it.

Nutrition is complicated and time consuming, not to mention, sometimes expensive. It's easy to say, "Just eat nutritionally!" but the reality is far harder.
@FoxyQueen yep, and after all that you also need to get it in your mouth and keep it down. That's a huge issue for me with about 80% of food...
@FoxyQueen its is definitely hard to reach optimal nutrition, i totally agree.
In fact i dont think we ever stop learning as our nutritional needs may even change over time.

However some people have terrible processed diets, and obvious changes, like you mentioned: going to natural foods, is a massive step forwards....for anyone.

Just choosing to improve one thing is better than doing nothing.
@NerdyPotato i sometimes have problems with being able to swallow.

Sometimes i jist dont feel like cooking ...or eating.

So I make a lot of soups.
I drink a lot of smoothies. Smoothies are quick to make.

There are many protein powders and other green nutritional powders out there like spirulina, that you can combine for nutrition.

Soups are easy - just chop stuff up, buy stock liquid, (is better), or stock cubes and let cook on low for a while till the veggies are at a level you can eat.

I always keep some soy sauce, and sweet soy sauce on hand for cooking - they both add a lot of flavor.
Adding a dash of vinegar or lemon juice also helps.

If what youre cooking ends up too sour or too salty - add cream.
