Did you know: only 18 out of 1 million Lego pieces are defective?

The molds at the manufacturing plant at Lego are so precise and effective that just 18 out of 1 million are found to be defective. That's out of the 20 billion pieces that are manufactured every year!

Manufacturing standards:
LEGO's manufacturing standards are very high, with molds that are accurate to within 0.002 millimeters.
Quality control:

LEGO performs several checks throughout production to ensure the safety and completeness of its sets.

Testing:
Every element of the product, including the bricks, packaging, and assembly manual, is tested.

Extra pieces:
LEGO often includes extra pieces in its sets to account for the possibility of defects.

LEGO manufactures approximately 20 billion pieces each year, which is 35,000 pieces every minute. The company offers 2,350 different types of elements in 52 different colors, with over 7,000 active combinations.

Does it matter?
They still hurt when you kneel on them
@Convivial so do rocks

@Bexsy TBF, nature makes rocks. We DO make our own tiny plastic torture devices very efficiently though. Danish-like efficiency. Leave it to the Vikings to efficiently make tiny plastic toy construction material thar can double as pain implements 😂. (I LOVE Lego btw. Good for my ADHD brain.)
