I have a hearing disability
I'm deaf in my right ear
some people think that I am pretending to have his disability just so I won't have to listen to them
I don't have to pretend not to listen to them, I will openly defy them by letting them know that I heard them and chose not to listen...as opposed to pretending not to hear
