I heard someone suggesting a change to education where the student learns at their own pace, and graduates when ready to move on to work or a university education. They also learn skills relevant to their choice of career.

I can think cons is young people will be leaving school without the needed maturity.

A pro is it'll help teachers focus on teaching kids skills that'll help them.
