"neo paganism 1920's - current day". "Pagan" is a semitic term that refers to every other religion in existence that was not of the spiritual seed of the prophet Abraham. So, thousands upon thousands of religions, with all their denominations. Are you to have us believe that you are an expert on every religion in existence, on top of quantum theory to sociology? And all achieved within a span of just two years?
I can show you the actual, college and university certified qualifications I've achieved, in the last two years. I'd also willingly discuss it all live over videocall, so you know I'm not just Googling my answers.

@Therealsteve because most people's knowledge of subjects are cursory at best. They remember what they heard in high school and don't go any further.
Just fyi, I've got 20 more years on you and a lot of time to have done research in depth, so I somewhat laugh at your indignation. When you research topics that interest you, you tend to be more ambitious in learning it than going to grab a degree. Also, my research includes actual people who have been in and experienced a lot of these topics. (Not all, obviously) So I also learn from their lived experiences which is often a greater teacher than book learning. It also help you involve yourself in sympathetically listening to them to learn. Also, i said two years because I was being modest. Some of this research of mine has gone on for decades. Things like gender, which I did not mention, is new and I have barely had 2 years in, but I have done some pretty deep dives with biology, sociology, LGBTQ+ and other sources, to make sure I have a fairly well rounded, unbaised viewpoint for my understanding. So most of these, I have long term experience with.
So no, I'm not an expert, but I can certainly see where others have not bothered to do more than the surface learning. Either way, sorry to have gotten your knickers in a twist. Hope you feel better soo !

@Therealsteve Also, since he is no longer here, I can say, it isn't sementic. It was a term given to all non Catholics. It was actually a slur and was meant to be derogatory to those who didn't willingly join the church.
But hey...I've only been studying paganism, the religion I actively follow, for over 30 years. What do I know? 🤷♀

Ah interesting, such diversity.
I love researching and learning. My main subjects are psychology on a plethora of subjects, forensic science and methods, planting/gardening, anything involving detective work or documentaries aka missing persons, homicide, unsolved cases, and more..

Interesting and eclectic collection.
I take it understanding Psychology, Sociology, Motivation and Law is key to understanding much of the rest?

All interesting subjects.

@JimboSaturn They really have been! They also show how everything is connected and that everything is far more nuanced than what we see on the surface!
