Things I have spent more than 2 years researching

For my own edification and no other reason:

• The Crusades
• Fetishes
• Cults
• Psychology
• Sociology
• Coercive control
• Motivations, intentions, and goals
• LGBTQ+ history
• African American culture and diaspora
• Human sexuality
• Feminism
• MRA/incels
• Alt Right history
• Christian Nationalism
• Poverty and its effects on people and society as well as systemic disparities to keep people in poverty
• Theology
• Socialism
• Physics theories - some quantum
• The Satanic Panic
• Law
• US government
• NeoPaganism - 1920's - current day

I'm sure there are others, but I can't remember them at this moment.

The point of this post is that if I engage you in any of these topics, chances are, I know what I'm talking about, and I will see where you are ignorant. I will also openly admit when I don't know something, and you can guarantee that I am already researching it so I can fill that hole.

We are here to learn and grow. I intend to do just that.

Interesting and eclectic collection.

I take it understanding Psychology, Sociology, Motivation and Law is key to understanding much of the rest?

@ArishMell Not always. They were learned due to separate reasons, but they do inevitably tie togethe.

@FoxyQueen Thankyou. I appreciate not all those subjects will have much bearing on each other, but others will be linked very strongly in some way.

@ArishMell it is fascinating when you see the threads. It becomes a wild rabbit hole lol

@FoxyQueen Rabbit hole? More like a complete warren, I reckon! They are fascinating areas of study though.
