It sounds to me like you have either chosen a course that you really aren't interested in, or have teachers who have lost (or never had) the spark that draws students in. At this stage, you're probably best to see it through and complete, but it such a shame that these years are so unpleasant for you,

I went to a tech school for electronics two years straight no summer breaks. That diploma not degree kept me in work from the first week I graduated until I retired.
I have no regrets about choosing that path. And when I was finished there was no student loan hanging over my head.

@Gibbon You also went at a good time for that!
Gibbon · 70-79, M
@SomeMichGuy yup 1972-74 learned vacuum tube circuits, analog transistor circuits and logic circuits with all classes in alignment with each other. Theory, circuit analysis, labs, math, trouble shooting, writing which was an odd mixture of report techniques outlining, theory development. Totally different than anything else I ever did in school. We were using slide rules. 4 function calculators were just beginning to come out.

"By not choking on exams" is the rationale I used when I was there. Unfortunately, in engineering 95% of your grade is exam-based. Fortunately, I'm a much better engineer than I was a student

By doing a Degree in a subject I love and working hard to succeed 🙂🙂🥢

I never managed to get my degree. 😅 Been to a few different schools at this point and could just never get my brain to focus on it properly.

But most of the fun of going to college is being away from home, and able to do what you want, where u want, with who you want :D
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@iamthe99 Unless your college is in your home city. 😐

I transferred several times, and finally ended up at the art college where I should have started.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
Depends on what you study and where. Some colleges are easy but then diploma isn't all that relevant either.
Yourwildestdreams · 51-55, M
@CrazyMusicLover Over here technical schools issue diplomas and universities issue degrees 💁🏼♂😀
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@Yourwildestdreams I had no idea. 😆 Thanks for the explanation.

@CrazyMusicLover Be kind to your ears 🤦🏼♂😅

College wasn't an easy time...I got heavily into drinking, drugs and gay sex. I dropped out twice before eventually graduating from college and law school.
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
You must be almost done, no?
SarahKenny · F
@uncalled4 Nope, I'm not really a good student and I work very slow 😪
