I got a C on a calculus test but 70% of the class failed it so I didn't beat myself up too much about it

@Jlhzfromep Better than I would have done! I'd have been among the 70% and it was to be decades before I managed to understand what Differentiation means.
Well, that was the Calculus, but what of the rest of the Maths syllabus?

@ArishMell that was my lowest grade in math ever.. Usual had As and A+ in math and science

@Jlhzfromep Were you taught maths as a single curriculum subject of many topics, or mathematical topics as if separate curriculum subjects?
Mathematics was always my weakest subject, ending my early dreams of a professional engineering or science career - though I did work at "shop-floor" level in technical industries.

@ArishMell it was multiple topics from algebra, trigonometry, calculus, statistical, and the math team did a little of everything

@Jlhzfromep I see. Thankyou.
One topic in my school maths syllabus was Pure, or Euclidean, Geometry. Examining the properties of non-dimensioned plane figures rather than solving numerical problems with them, I wonder if this is still taught anywhere?

@ArishMell best of luck with your courses. I am sure those are still taught in one form or in colleges around the world
