@NerdyPotato True, and perhaps the rules of engagement were too broad. However, I have not seen it articulated what an acceptable figure would be. The argument against Israel is that it is committing genocide full stop and must stop further attacks against Hamas. That’s what a ceasefire would require.

@Bumbles me neither, and there will never be a figure that everyone finds acceptable other than zero. But I think we can all agree that 90% is absolutely unacceptable by far. If Israel comes up with a plan to target Hamas and only Hamas, they have my full support to execute that. But if their best tactic is to kill everything that moves like it is now, a full stop on both sides is the only sensible thing to give them time to think of something better.
