Well, I dropped out a few times actually, but then later down the line when I became a mum I went back. Now I’m almost done with grad school. I kept dropping out because of bad life circumstances. There were a lot of terrible things happening pulling me in many directions. Couldn’t commit/focus.

@WhateverWorks Wow congrats! Grad school for what? I saw a more than a few women leave in my days due to pregnancy or just family planning (found the guy they wanted to raise a family with) . That is understandable and certainly a gender difference that could be its own topic. You said mum--implying not in the USA where college is expensive. Is part of if subsidized?

@robertsnj Mental health counseling . Hoping people work through their stuff and get their life back to something they actually want makes me happy.
I’m in the US. I went to school on a a few scholarships and some grants.
Nah.. in my case it was because I came from a.. really hard life. I kept trying to go back to school because I wanted things to get better, but the chaotic circumstances and my own mental health trying to cope wasn’t conducive to keeping up with my classes. I went back to school because I was pregnant (solo mother working towards providing a better life for their kiddo, etc.).
