Will switching a class before the class start effect financial aid?

Since I am working again I’m thinking about switching from in person to online. It will drain me if I go to my school in person but the teacher that teaches the online class has okay reviews 3/5 and a lot of people have awful things to say about him but others say that he is an amazing teacher. I take the bus. I don’t wanna waste my money on Uber. Only stupid people would waste money on Uber to go to work and to school and back home. Class doesn’t start until August 22nd.
