I had someone I used to know on here get annoyed with me and told me they'd block me for the same reason. I told them I had a life too and I was very busy, then they got really petty with me and I blocked them. Tbh they weren't a very nice person to begin with, not sure why I ever put up with them. The good ones won't mind and will respect your boundaries and circumstances.

some of us don't have the luxury of a true life and live on here - I get their feeling abandoned

but I'd prefer to think of it as an unexpected pleasure when somebody returns.
