@BiasForAction $10,000 in loan forgiveness will cost the taxpayer $321 billion. Our current budget deficit is $2.8 trillion...just for 2021.

The national debt is higher than GDP. The last time that happened was WWII. Interest rates are rising as a result.

We have the the highest inflation in 40 years. Doing this would increase inflation at least 1/2 a point over current rates.

The benefits do not exceed the costs
