Is an extra degree worth the cost?

There is this university Ph.D program that I really want to follow.
I already have a Ph.D and was recognized with a Honorary Doctorate Degree as well for my work in hormonal cancer research.
I even get to give lectures as a professor starting from end of September.
Isn't it a bit silly to seek out an extra degree?

While one could say that I have studied enough and earned enough degrees during my life , there is this university program I can't get out of my head.

Cost £10k.

I am at a crossroads here.

Do or don't.

You always have to calculate your return on investment.

I'm scared to admit that I'm too old to spend £10k on a degree and expect decent ROI.

I am not even guaranteed a higher salary after this degree because if you already have a Ph.D and substantial work experience, that extra degree might be looked at as "filler".

I don't know.

Worth the jump?

Can't stop thinking about how badly I want it.

Those £10k were actually money I saved up for a breast augmentation and here I am considering to throw it at an exciting degree program and staying with what nature gave me in the bossom department.

Urgh .
Decisions.
Sometimes you wish there was money for both.
Especially at my age.
