I Just Started College

This is my first week of college. So far it has been remarkably different than high school. In fact the set up that college has displayed to me do far has made me think that possibly it could be used in a high school setting to improve self reliance and responsibility. Let them pick when to take course and make them have the responsibility to show up. If you don't sorry about your luck. In that way I think it would separate those who could handle themselves in the real world. It could show them that its not anyone else's problem but their own to get their work done. Of course there would be some who just refused to do any work but that would just show everyone else that they were not mentally ready for a job of any high caliber.
