I Don't Think a College Degree Always Indicates Intelligence
I am going to start a degree course in September. In my case it does not indicate intelligence. It’s Art and Design. A bit of intelligence and then create!

Having an MBA or PhD doesn’t make you an idiot if you’re not one to start with and it doesn't rescue you from being an idiot if you are.
The insistence on post-graduate education is fairly new (thirty years or so) and many people who ‘came up through the ranks’ were often passed over for promotion because although they had the experience, they didn’t have the degree. And those who didn’t come up the ladder had the degree but no Experience. It bred a lot of resentment and in many cases rightly so.

What kind of art and design takes your fancy?
I love to create. I've used my creativity more in my non-creative career (overseas aid) than you'd imagine. But on the side I paint in oils, write, build and play harps and musical instruments... many other things.

When I was taking beginner sculpture class, my instructor said that there is a college professor who teaches art and he have NO degrees.... But he is famous for his art work.... So yeah, college degrees are not necessarily, especially for art
