This is probably a really dumb question about evolution (and forgive me if it is) but

How come some animals haven't evolved since dinosaur times?

Like crocodiles and horseshoe crabs? (I think) ?

I dunno man, it's just the way they say it in documentaries.

They say stuff like: "this is the oldest living dinosaur, and it's been around for XYZ million years"

They make it sound like it hasn't changed since 😂

@Fishy everything evolves. Look up ancient crocodiles and none of them are alive today bc they went extinct and or evolved into extant crocodilians

@deadgerbil but but, nature documentaries 👀

@Fishy I'm guessing they're poorly worded/ambiguous documentaries, which allows for bad interpretations to be derived from them
