Does reading make you sleepy?

The problem is it makes me sleepy, but I just want to read one. More. Chapter....

Its usually the whiskey i drink while reading that does that.

If I read before bed, yes I'm tired at that point.

No. You have a good handicap. Calling in because you couldn't stop reading until noticing there was morning daylight coming through the curtains is both embarrassing and a terrible thing to need to lie to your boss about.

If you ever lose it, always keep a half filled glass of neat scotch next to you Sunday through Thursday and order yourself to drink it if you start feeling like you can't put the book down. Lol

Makes me extremely sleepy to the point in lucky if I ever finish 2 pages.... and I never remember what I read.

Nope -- a good book will keep me up for hours, sometimes all night until i finish it.
