The serial killer who shot 19 kids at school

Also tortured dogs and cats. People who torture animals eventually go to humans.

This was one of several flags that he gave out, parents by his age were probably thinking he was old enough to not be their problem. Soceity's problem now.

@Subsumedpat If only there were laws for how to deal with such red flags...

@CorvusBlackthorne Oklahoma has a law against red flag laws.

@CorvusBlackthorne There are in 19 states, since Florida enacted theirs they have used it over 8,000 times to take guns away and have probably impacted a number of suicides. I don't think Florida was about to have 8,000 school shootings though so it is hard to say they work for that. What they won't do is significantly effect the number of gun murders which are the result of violent crime not mental illness red flags and they will be misused. What does work and would have worked in this case is lock the door. Not a single child has been gunned down behind a locked classroom door. They not only did not lock the classroom door they had propped the exterior door open and there was not a single person on campus who could deal with an armed intruder. That is your real failure in this tragedy. And what of those 8,000 in Florida who they took their guns away under a red flag, how many were justified, and what about ok you take their guns but the problem and flags are still there. Something is still apt to happen.
