Music theory and form question:

In music form, what are those blocks with the letters in them called?
Is there an actual name for them?

Sorry if this is a dumb question,

I'm still a noob 😂

Edit**
I think I figured it out,
I think it's called a section?
Maybe? I dunno

I’ve answered a few of these, but are you going to school for it… or?

@DarkHeaven that profile pic though🤣
@Fishy They don’t really have names that I know of, but it’s a lot like poetry… where you have rhyme schemes. The block combinations denote type of musical form structures… such as:

@DarkHeaven it's more like, I'm trying to find techniques and methods for linking those blocks together so they sound like they're part of the same song 😅

And like... What makes a block? Where does it start and where does it end? Are they all meant to be the same duration? Etc 😅
@Fishy You are getting deep into theory with those questions, and not easily answered, outside of an actual course. I hope I’ve helped a little, though. 😊
