What happened to all those cool weed smokers you knew in your teens and early twenties. Where are they now?

The problem with being a "cool" weed smoker is that in the past, weed was often soaked in other chemicals to make it stronger.
The only weed smokers I knew were the ex and his sister, and the ex became psychotic later in life, while his sister just became pathetic, and raised children who were drunks and drug users. One of them died of a heroin overdose.
