What's your view on the concept of homework, the amount and kind that should be given, etc?

If it depends, then give an example of a hypothetical specific scenario.

I don’t feel like it should be a thing. I feel like once I leave the school premises, I should be a free bird. I never did my homework at home lol

@TonyPajamas I am more open to this argument than I used to be. I think it'd be good to have access to pages to study and practice so that you can understand what you're learning, but whether or not it's good to force you to complete them, to me, is up for debate.

@33person optional study sheets, sure. I never needed to study, even in Uni, so all that was useless to me. I’m an absorbent person. I only need to be told something once and I understand lol

@TonyPajamas If that genuinely has always worked for you, then there is no reason for anyone to force you to do anything. I just think it's good for the teacher to be able to say, "These exercises are the kind of exercises that would be good for you to do after we talk about X and before we talk about Y, if you were wondering what you should practice."
