Did you ever have to fight a bully growing up?

A bully kept harassing me when I was in school. Every day he would walk up behind me and hit me in the back of my head with a book. One day I had enough. I followed him down the hall, knocked him to the floor from behind and slammed his face into the ground repeatedly. The Teachers had to pull me off. His face was bloodied and I broke his nose.

He never bothered me again.

I had more then my share of bullies from the start of school till the end. Most were verbal but I still had to fight every recess and lunch times. PE was worse for it too. They could hurt me in front of everyone and claim it was an accident.
My older Brother... erm. would hear about it and beat and bully me at home trying to make me stronger. He did go around to my bullies older siblings and beat them up each time I was bullied. And after the time I had been hospitalised after one beating my brother went after those bullies families. All the while not telling me that he was sticking up for me this way...
In the end it didn't matter if I fought back. There always seemed to be an endless supply of bullies waiting in line.

At school I put a guy in hospital when I was 14 because he asked if I was pregnant as well.A reference to me being barefooted. He was mouthy. We fought it out and he lost.My scissors hold with my thighs broke 2 ribs on both sides and made him pass out.A large group were watching us.He was 17.

@tallpowerhouseblonde I think me screaming "I will F***ing kill you" while I slammed his head into the ground scared everyone.

Just the one, a boy called Carl, to this day I have a little sinking feeling in my stomach when I hear someone is called Carl. It was resolved eventually but it's not a good place to be.

A few. The one in high school I scared the shit out of with my words...she wound up respecting me after that.

@Peaceful If you want peace, prepare for war!
Yes, I was bullied a lot as a child. But the nuns had favorites and often looked the other way. One girl finally pushed me too far; I gave her a black eye and loosened her front teeth. I was left alone for the rest of my time at school.

no, most of the time it was just people saying shit behind my back and I ignored them

Yes. I did the same but verbally. He never looked at me again.

Sometimes it just has to come to that.

No. I've shoved people and twisted arms, but it never ended up as a fight. They always backed off.

Well done. But what did the teachers do after they had separated you?
Einstok · 36-40, M
@MartinII We both got suspended. But I won, so I felt great.
