Russian vs ASL

Hello, EP. Omfg, so I have been pondering my predicament for like a full month before I remembered that you guys exists.
So, I don't know whether to take Russian or ASL in the coming semester. Both have their ups and downs.
Russian will build a bridge into learning other slavic languages and languages that use the Cryllic script. It's also pretty cool.
ASL is invaluable in engaging with people that are death and challenged.

What other cons and pros can you guys think off?

Always good to learn a language. But the question is, would you ever use it ? As opposed to something like Spanish or Mandarin for example ?
In the world of work, ASL might be considered a skill as well as a language.
Two birds with one stone as the saying goes!

@Picklebobble2 That is very true. You don't have to be hard of hearing to benefit from ASL either. Many birds with one stone.
