Why do people get angry about *wokeness* *wokism*?

It's literally just a right wing talking point and myth that's only reverberated in the right wing press and the conservative party. It was so pathetic hearing Braverman and Truss talk about being "anti-woke" when the country needs fixing, not focusing on some fictional culture war someone read about in the Murdoch press.

It's like the people who say stuff like "you can't say anything anymore" and you ask them what they can't say and they can't tell you hahaha.

Hm, disagree, there is definitely an issue with promoting left wing intolerance and ideas at American Universities.

They are not being well prepared for the working world having these attitudes and beliefs, it gets in the way of their success.

I don't care about this woke culture, times have changed.
we are living in 2022 not 1950 - theres a massive difference in everything. these people either don't like change = or they are too stuck in the past to move forward with the rest of us
a lady on here was banging on how she went outside and didn't fit in anywhere, I mean I don't go outside to fit in, I go outside to enjoy life, people are dickheads mainly, and need to take politics out of their life and fucking live

It's a bit different here in the USA. The National Teachers Unions have gone woke, and their woke curriculums are being circulated in every single elementary school.

Critical Race Theory and Gender Theory and totalitarian group think humiliations are quite common. Lawsuits are springing up everywhere for illegalities, and even crimes such as rape springing from mandatory sharing of bathrooms among biological females and a Trans rapist boy in Virginia.

Makes zero sense to me.

It is just another political buzzword that some people like to toss around because some talk show host said it. Latching on to some political agenda, or conspiracy theory gives their lives meaning.

Because their opinions are dangerous and indefensible. They're conservative and it's killing everything. Really. And the complacent Dems are definitely conservative.
