Pet Peeves: WHY does all ready made food have to contain hot peppers???????????

This morning, I thawed out and baked a package of MAPLE flavored chicken sausages. The ONLY flavor in these sausages is hot red pepper.

I've noticed this with frozen dinners, and with chicken tenders. WHY??????

It’s a cheap flavor and they seem to be trying to please those from cultures who like spicy foods now

@cherokeepatti I had considered that. But it certainly makes me want sausages a LOT less.

@4meAndyou I have made breakfast sausage from ground beef or ground turkey. Mixed up a lot of spices and herbs to season it with, it was so good. I used salt, pepper, a bit of cayenne, garlic powder, sage, oregano, summer savor, quite a bit in proportion to the meat.
