It's disconcerting for me when I visit the UK where even small supermarkets have security guards because here in Norway it's very rare. It's not that shoplifting doesn't occur in Norway of course. We don't have so many guards here simply because we don't have enough people to do it.
Not really, I’m used to it and it’s kind of comforting, we have them everywhere here.

They never even look at me. Kind of sucks cause when I dare leave the house, I try to look good.
Sometimes just to be funny I will say, "Do you need to check my receipt to make sure shoplifting isn't taking place?"
But yeah most security guards DGAF, they just want to get home and fall back asleep.

It's when they stop you and ask to see what you are hiding in your <something> that really gets me riled up.

@Wiseacre They assume everyone wearing a hoody or a loose dress is stuffing things. Probably 50% correct too.
