I Am Annoyed

i just discovered that the bank charged me quite a large amount of annual fee (around 180euro for comparison with the currency we use here) which is more than the usual monthly i spend with the card. i had to call them to waive the charge every year and i hate this a lot. When they are going to charge you they should at least inform you because some people may choose to cut the card services if they know there s going to be a charge and how much they are going to charge. when they first lured you into applying for the card, they always said for the 1st year/or 2 years/ etc there won't be a charge but then there will be the annual fee afterwards, but you can call back and ask for a waive of it. however, the terms and conditions are always subject to changes by the banks and the banks have the sole authority for the interpretation and discretion of the terms. so it s possible that in anytime they could stop waiving and charge you without advanced notice. it s annoying and i feel unsafe using credit cards but it s not practical to avoid using them. buying air tickets, show tickets, travel insurance, booking hotels, registration for exams... these are done online with credit cards so much easier than otherwise.
