Though I can't really say why. It's been building since I came back from hiking last Monday. Which is odd.
Hiking is usually a reset for me. Truth be told, I felt great on Monday. Then Tuesday happened.
An political argument at work when I clearly stated I didn't want to talk about politics. Another one at home about dishes, trash, and baby stuff with my daughter and her boyfriend when I got home. Then Tuesday night I slept terribly. Wednesday wasn't all that much better.
But I'm usually much better at segregating these types of episodes and shedding them each in turn. That hasn't seemed to happen this time around.
I mean, I'm going through the same processes that usually help me push out the negative. Yet, here I am actually annoyed that I'm typing about being annoyed.
Perhaps life is testing my limits. Sending in consecutive sub-par events with little to no down time between them ? All I know for sure is something seems off about everything since last Tuesday morning. I can't quite put my finger on it though. It's like having the smallest dot of poison ivy, itching away in the middle of your back and even after struggling to scratch it..., it only itches more.
I've pretty much withdrawn from over interactions with everyone but my grandson at this point.
Speaking of which.... How's about I share a pic of the little bundle of awesome ?
Maybe I'll stare at it for a while.
