I Hate Guys Who Hit Women
Men who hit their wives are not real men, they are monsters, psychopaths, sociopaths and cowards. Everyone of us gets annoyed and angry from time to time but that is no excuse to hit someone man or woman.

I tend to agree with the coward part. Having been married to a man who hit me and injured me in other ways, I can tell you that part of it is about early childhood training, part of it is about extremely low self esteem on the part of the man, and part of it is about the need for power over someone smaller and weaker.
I have never met a man before or since who was so afraid of so many things. If there was a scary noise outside, I had to be the one to investigate. He had terrible nightmares, and used to wake me up yelling in his sleep.
I do think there was an anger issue also, and possibly a drug use and alcohol issue, and a bipolar issue.
I do not know if these men are monsters, but they are very probably psychopaths. Sociopaths have no conscience, and that is the only difference between them and a psychopath. Who knows what they feel inside? They are very good at hiding it if they feel anything other than anger.

@4meAndyou I experienced abuse at the hands of sadistic teachers during my junior school years and for a long time, I had low self esteem. I also suffer from PSTD, I aslo abused alcohol and had nightmares which was sleep paralysis. I have not drunk alcohol for over twenty-four years. What I did was very foolish, but "never" have I struck a woman. Yes, I am angry, but I channel that into my art and creative writing.

@4meAndyou Yes, I did have the odd good person around in my early life. Psycopaths will always be psycopaths. Some will lash out and others will play mind games which can be just as bad as being physically harmed. If one lived in an environment where one was hit by parents, guardian or school teachers. In some those victims will go on to think it's alright to hit others. My attitude is. I didn't like it when it was done to me. Why should I do it to others?
