So my nephew went to the elementary festival the other day

He's in seventh grade in his new school but he wanted to hang out with his cousins at the festival. So he was doing all the activities. He wanted to look at his old classroom. So he opens the door to see if anything changed. And these parents yelled at him for being there and asked if he was a fucking pedophile. So this half black 13 year old kid, who's tall for his age, decided to visit his old classroom, and got called a fucking pedophile at the festival he was so excited for. Those people can just fucking die and get hit by a bus.

Fucked. Up. I used to visit all my old teachers in primary after school all the way up till I was 16. A group of friends and I were even invited to do a "Big Brother Little Brother" after school help program for kids who needed it for math, science or english.

We were never treated as strangers, or a threat. More like extra big students who rolled back in after the bell rang for the day. Very warm and family like.

Helps that all the teachers recognised us and basically saw us grow up.
