Do you argue with idiots?

If so, why? I used to, but I've found that it's really quite pointless. Most willful ignorants and extremists out there are simply too far gone. Try to talk sense into them and they'll call you an idiot. I see some pretty intelligent and rational people getting into it with such illiterate fools and it's like watching them fistfight someone who doesn't have arms, lol. Just, why bother? My advice is to just let them live and die with their stupid ideas and have a productive discussion with someone who actually has their head on straight instead.
