Im new but not sure I want to stay here or not.

[b][/b] I'm dealing with some nice people but there's a lot of perverts and dirty talk and it's really annoying. I haven't decided if I want to stick around or delete this thing I'm not really getting anything out of it.

It takes a while to truly get the lay of the land, and you have to take some responsibility yourself. Set you filters, whether you program the ones available or just be selective as to which posts or messages you respond to. I know a lot of people advise blocking those who annoy, but I personally feel that only gives them the attention they are seeking and while blocking them can put a target on yourself for those of the same ilk. I have found it better to just ignore, or -- on the non-sexual issues -- state if they are going to label and name call I assume they have nothing left for a constructive conversation and then ignore, if they persist. The bullies and perverts lose attention fast if they don't get the attention they crave.
