Do you like it when people give you advice?

Advices are very much welcome in proper places. Don’t do it when it is not asked, esp on parties were a lot of people can hear and also tell you things.

If I have asked for it then I am kind of bound and obliged to listen to it, even if I do not take it.
If I am talking about my situation publicly and people have opinions and advices to give, it is again something I asked for and the least I can do is listen without shaming someone for giving 'unsolicited advice' as is so common here on this site.
In the end, I am not obliged to follow anything anyone says but it enriches me to have many perspectives from where I can make a more informed or thought about decision.

That’s true, they might listen to your advice if it’s right for them but not right away. Everyone tries their own way of doing things first before they listen to others.

People rarely gives me good advise, most of the time it's just their opinion on the matter instead of a well thought idea that suits my scenario.

People I respect, sure. Im very receptive to new information bc I feel more confident making decisions when I have as much insight as possible.

Yes. I'll take all advice, including rude, judgemental, annoying, bashful and insulting ones.

If someone has useful experience and therefore insight, sure. But not when they're projecting their own issues onto my life choices.

Yes about big important issues, no if it’s just about the best way to wash the dishes or peel a potato.

Depends on the intent of the person giving advice. Also, the way they put it up.

I like it if it's not overly general, obvious or not asked for.

It's good when I ask for it. Not good when it is not solicited. Never good on the golf course.

Oh it totally DEPENDS.

Some people can give you really insightful pieces of advice , and some can completely misinterpret what you said and become judge and jury on something they didnt understand in the first place.

Or you get triggered responses (of which ive been guilty in the past).

Not really tbh. I guess nobody likes it if one didn't ask for it first.
