Anti-male Discrimination.

I see Primark are bringing back women only changing rooms in their stores. It appears men will still have to use the unisex ones where random women will still be able to walk in on them as they're changing. Obviously they think equality only works one way and, as second class citizens, men don't deserve respect or dignity.

"Male privilege" means the needs of men simply don't count.

@graphite It certainly seems that way. To some women, equality means our having all the rights of men without men having any of the special privileges we currently have.

@Sharon There's now a call for drafting women and it's being resisted. Being forcibly sent to die on the battlefield has been a male-only "privilege" for hundreds of years.

@graphite If there's to be a draft, there is no valid reason for exampting women from it. That's equality!

@Sharon But it would result in a baby boom like we've never seen before. Conscripting women and, of course, shaving their heads the same as the humiliation male conscripts have had to deal with? Women hold a "wild card" to dodge it.

@graphite Not really. The baby could be cared for by its father, her relatives, or put into care at her expense, while she did her service. Equality means equality, not just the good bits.

@Sharon Whether it stops it or not, there would be thousands of young women showing up at their draft boards, infants in hand, pleading to get out.

Here in Norway women campaigned for national service (førstegangstjeneste) to include women as well as men.

Verneplikten har vært kjønnsnøytral etter det ble innført allmenn verneplikt i 2015.

Conscription has been gender neutral since general conscription was introduced in 2015.
