US battles major measles outbreak

South Carolina's Spartanburg County has become the epicenter of the largest measles outbreak in more than 30 years. Some doctors fear that outbreaks like this one are becoming the new normal.

Spartanburg is where all of the immigrants are processed for/in SC..

@Magicianzini South Carolina is among the states with the lowest immunization rates. Also the worst tracking of vaccinations among school age children. I don’t know off hand how much different that rate is for immigrants vs non-immigrants.

@KunsanVeteran It's much, much higher. Most are not immunized at all... zero, nada, zilch. Also, statewide, the Greenville/Spartanburg area is better than the rest of the state except for Charleston and Columbia.
