Mine is the 4mhz (only louder) - caused by gunfire and I've had since I was 20. It's annoying and it makes it hard to hear what people are saying... like making out the words. Keeps one from socializing a lot, or nodding and saying yes or I understand when you should be horrified at what is being said😁.

People in general don't like people who can't hear and they have to make a face to let you know you're annoying them. I've always found that odd. So they can't speak a little louder? Is it going to kill them?

@SW-User What I've found is people tend to get annoyed when I say "Huh?" over and over, or people assume I'm ignoring what they're saying when I simply don't hear their words clearly and can't comment.
