Just a little crazy

Our 15yo daughter asked me how I wound up with tinnitus. I Told her how I got wrecked at a music festival in '85, when David Lee Roth came on the crowd became tightly packed. Looking for a place near the stage with more breathing room, I wound up way too close to a speaker stack. About 2 days later, the ringing in my ears turned into this insect buzzing I've been hearing 24/7 since.
She axked if that's why I seem a little crazy at times. Well, that's one reason. We also have 3 kids and 4 four-legged kids, our dogs, running around.

There's a way to get around the buzzing. Had it myself as a kid. Yet I doubt your hearing would get any better using that technique.

It's all mentally done. When you start to hear it. Try to ignore it by imagining pushing it away. It takes a type of focus, that few are able to manage. Basically you make your brain ignore it. The noise signal just isn't processed.
