I Sleep Walk

I used to sleepwalk a lot as a child. I'd wake up with fresh mud on my feet and hear stories from my parents about places they found me the night before. I didn't give it much thought back then, as I didn't ever bother anyone with it, they found it more amusing than anything else. It was simple enough for them to just lock the doors after I go to bed, and hope I don't injure myself in the process. I grew out of it eventually

I know conclusively that I have not bee sleepwalking these last few years, but now, it seems to have started up again. I moved to a new country two months ago, and shortly after my housemates started informing me of things I've been doing in my sleep. I has them properly freaked out. Apparently they have woken up to find me standing over them as they sleep, when they then speak to me I give nonsensical replies. I, of course, have no recollection of these events or conversations at all. I am just as surprised to hear about it as they are to experience it.

I do the most bizarre things in that state. And it has them properly scared. Though I don't think they quite grasp how scary it is for me to have my body walk around and do things without my permission. I don't believe that I am a danger to myself or to them in that state, but I don't think they would quite agree with that. In the most recent indecent, I systematically collected all the towels and cellphones in the house and placed them all in the shower, then i apparently paced for a while and went back to bed. I have no idea what for what reason I would do such a thing or even if I knew what I was doing in that moment, as I have no recollection of it now. I just know that if this continues they might ask me to sleep in the living room from now on and lock their doors at night... sigh.

It is scary in a way, not knowing what you could do

but it's kinda interesting why you did what you did, maybe you were saving everyone from the electromagnetic radiation of cellphones
