@Mudkip yeah so many are spoilt with labor saving conveniences these days and electronics keep us indoors quite a bit. I remember having to fetch buckets of water and carrying them in the house in one village where we lived when I was 8 year old, helping carry firewood from the wagon to the house, working in the garden like an adult. In the summer we children were free to roam the village and would walk for miles to pass the summer afternoons away after the chores were done. We didn’t even bring water and I don’t know why we didn’t get so thirsty. There was always my grandpa’s hand-pump well out behind his house when we got back to the village. We also had to walk back and forth to the school bus stop every day. And got sent to the village store to fetch things needed for cooking. And sometimes would walk over to neighbors for a short visit. Only got two good channels on tv so no temptation to stay inside and watch tv all day.
