My dad passed away due to cancer almost two years back

I was rather relieved that he died not for something personal, but I saw him suffer that sickness so much, my heart would hurt me everytime I would visit him. It as if the sickness was sucking the life out of him.
He was also someone very patient, no complain what so ever, tolerating his pain in silence.
I sincerely admire him especially throughout his last stage of life.
For me I felt like that he's now at rest after suffering so much in this life.
