It Is A Worry

I was a teen I the early 80s when it was a real concern. I showed my daughter the old TV ad she was like "Shit! Have sex. DIE!".

I lost a good friend who'd been in bands when me to it in the early 90s.

Now I have another friend who has it but with the drugs he takes he lives a full normal life. His viral load is basically nothing.

But why risk contracting it in the first place? Having unprotected sex with someone you don't know is playing Russian Roulette with your health. Plus it adds extra strain onto the NHS (in the UK) if you do catch it.

There are a whole load of other things you can catch from unprotected sex. And a lot more probable than HIV.

Probably not something you want on your bucket list. Life is complicated enough as it is.
