First of all: An exact cumulative total number of COVID-19 cases in the U.S. for 2026 is no longer publicly tracked or reported by health agencies, as routine universal case counting has ended.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) COVID-19 Data Tracker indicates that overall COVID-19 activity remains at relatively low levels, though the U.S. experienced a late-summer wave of increased transmission and growing infections across a majority of states.

Emergency department visits and hospital admissions linked to COVID-19 remain low nationally compared to historical pandemic peaks, with weekly hospital admissions forecasted around 4,600.

Fewer than 6,000 U.S. deaths were officially associated with COVID-19 through the early part of the second half of 2026, marking a significant decline from prior years.

Indeed, they are associated with a significantly lower risk of death from severe illness and lower overall mortality rates. Public health authorities globally confirm that fatal adverse reactions to authorized vaccines are exceedingly rare, and the overall benefits of vaccination vastly outweigh the risks.

In fact, a large national cohort study from France didn’t observe any increase in all-cause mortality in adults up to four years after receipt of a COVID mRNA vaccine, and vaccination was linked to a 74% lower risk of death from severe COVID-19 and a 25% lower risk of death from any cause.

Introduce 'changes' as to what qualifies as 'official statistics' then throw in a questionable Doctors study to throw the facts into doubt...just in case covid cases rise in hospitals data later.
