Would you try Urine Therapy?

Urine therapy, also known as urotherapy, involves using human urine for medicinal or cosmetic purposes

🤢🤢🤢🤢, but this was a common practice in the 1800s and thousands of years before modern times

Here is my reason for this post.

My father in-law and his mother would pour pee in their ears to treat ear infections

(My skin is just crawling just thinking about this)

@HumanEarth Goes to ER.
Doctor asks why does your ear smell like pee?
@HumanEarth while I'm NOT a supporter of this, there is certain logic about it. In a survival situation, drinking urine will give you an extra day or two of survival. You can drink urine 1-3 times before it becomes too concentrated and dangerous (renal failure)

@HumanEarth you wouldn't drink your own pee? I don't think it would be that bad if it was yours.

@HumanEarth We use olive oil for ear infections. It coats the eardrums and takes down inflammation. I'm guessing them using urine was a antibiotic treatment using bacteria from the pee somehow?

@Guardian Survival guides and experts, including military manuals, advise against drinking urine. They emphasize that it can worsen dehydration and pose health risks. Instead, they recommend seeking alternative water sources, such as following animal tracks to find water or using techniques like solar stills to collect moisture.

So if you're even in a survival situation and you're thinking about drinking your own piss.

JUST DON'T DO IT
