called down for dinner ordered burger, fries and a chocolate shake. told that wasn't one of my approved meals. could have baked fish or chicken, steamed vegetables, applesauce and beef or chicken broth. called Alan to bring me dinner but he said he couldn't violate another doctors protocol or risk losing his hospital privileges. a little while later one of Katies friends walked in with a brown supermarket bag. inside was a Wendy's single with cheese, pickles, tomatoes, onions and ketchup, my fries and and shake. any wonder why I love Alan. on a better note today is paws for patients day and Sue is bringing Ralphie to see me. a real day brightener
